About Daily Questions

Empowering personal growth through daily reflection

Daily Questions is more than a platform; it's a journey toward self-improvement. Rooted in the principles outlined in Marshall Goldsmith's "Triggers", we aim to make personal growth accessible and achievable for everyone.

The Concept of Daily Questions

The practice involves asking yourself a set of questions each day. These questions are designed to keep you aligned with your goals and values, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Why Daily Questions Work

The Daily Questions method, as introduced by Marshall Goldsmith, is a powerful tool that promotes self-awareness and personal accountability. By consistently asking six core questions, individuals take active ownership of their actions and progress. These questions are designed to shift focus from external circumstances to personal effort, fostering engagement and improvement in key areas of life.

The Six Starter Questions:

  1. Did I do my best to set clear goals today?
  2. Did I do my best to make progress towards my goals today?
  3. Did I do my best to find meaning today?
  4. Did I do my best to be happy today?
  5. Did I do my best to build positive relationships today?
  6. Did I do my best to be engaged today?

Behind the scenes

Erik Visser

Erik Visser

Founder and co-learner

Erik first met Marshall Goldsmith in Nashville, Tennessee, during the Future Leaders Program in 2024. Marshall's teachings resonated with Erik, particularly the idea that while change is simple, it is hard. Although Erik was familiar with the concept of accountability in his personal life, he lacked an effective method for truly following through. The Daily Questions framework made this process much more accessible.

Inspired by Marshall's principle of "Paying it Forward," Erik decided to take this concept further by creating this free platform, aimed at helping others achieve meaningful change and reach their goals.

Erik is a technology leader who likes working on side projects like this, focusing on building products that have a positive impact.
